Lunar #79: Sinus Aestuum
This bay extends from Oceanus Procellarum and lies just south of the western end of Montes Apenninus and southeast of carter Eratosthenes. Wood lists it for its dark-mantle volcanic deposits (Wood 2004a, 2012a). There is a distinct wrinkle in the plain of the sinus some distance from its south east boundary.
